My husband and I had purchased our home on Maui 10 yrs. ago with the intent of retiring there. 4 grandbabies later, we made the difficult decision to sell and stay closer to family. We had intended on interviewing 3 agents. However, Debbie called us back immediately (we were on the mainland) and spoke with us at length. We were positive she was a perfect fit for us. We arrived on Maui several months later, listed our property and were under contract quickly. Then the Aug. 8 fire occurred. Despite nervousness on the part of the buyer and seller, and having several of the Compass team having lost their homes to the fire also, Debbie made every phone call with us seem as if we were her only responsibility. She not only made arrangements for the items to be picked up, she insured that the victims of the fire received the items. We left Maui before the close of the home. Debbie checked on the house and brought someone over to properly prepare the solar and appliances for the return of power. I don't believe the sale should have gone through without her calm support and deep knowledge of Maui real estate. We made the right decision in working with Debbie and you can ensure yourself a professional and thorough closing by working with Debbie, also. If she can close a deal under the extreme conditions we faced, I can only imagine how smooth and effortless a "normal" transaction is for her.

We had some family health issues going on at the time so we had to regretfully pass. However, she checked in a few months later and told us that the lot had indeed not been sold. I told her we were interested in making an offer. She reached out to the owners, got to know the situation, asked what it would take, etc. It took a few months, but we got our Dream Lot in Maui! Debbie was amazing. Without her, none of this would have happened. She has an incredible network, deep knowledge of the Maui market and makes it her mission to deliver for her clients. Best Realtor® we have ever worked with. Honest as the day is long and truly in it for her client's interest. She could have easily given up on us and moved on to more near-term clients, but she instead invested in us for the long term. I am thankful we found her when we did. She is an incredible find for anyone looking for their dream home in the most beautiful place on earth!
